The Flyers had their winning streak snapped earlier in the week but that didn’t faze the club as they rattled off three straight victories over the weekend to reach the top of the MJHL standings. Winkler is also ranked 19th on this week’s CJHL Top 20 Rankings.

Steinbach is tied atop the standings with Winkler following two wins last week including a convincing 7-0 decision over the OCN Blizzard on Sunday. The Pistons also sit 13th on the CJHL Top 20.

After losing four in a row earlier this month the Portage Terriers have won five straight to bounce back and rise up to fourth in the standings, two back of the league leaders.

Also with 20 points on the season are the OCN Blizzard. The Blizz started the week well with two wins but came up short twice over the weekend. OCN was an Honourable Mention on this week’s CJHL Top 20.

Seven wins in a row have the Selkirk Steelers creeping up the standings. Selkirk now finds themselves in fifth place and only four points back of the three teams sitting in first.

A win and a loss last week for the Virden Oil Capitals. The southern Manitoba team finished their five game home stand with two wins and three losses.
