| Swan Valley Stamps’ Argue named MJHL’s MVP and Top Goaltender |

February 18, 2012
Pardon the pun.....but, there's no arguing that Jayson Argue has had an unbelievable season in the MJHL.
Unbelievable? Let's torque that up a tad: Make that a Most Valuable Player type of season.
That was made official this weekend when the Swan Valley Stampeders' goaltender was presented with the league's MVP award by Commissioner Kim Davis.
And to add to his trophy case, Argue was also named the MJHL's Top Goaltender.
Argue's story would make a good movie.
Hometown kid....dreams to play for his beloved Swan Valley Stampeders. And he does. And just for good measure, he not only plays...he excells!
Argue has been a cornerstone of the club’s playoff run this season. The 18-year-old has backstopped 19 of the team’s 23 wins this season. That's MVP type material right there. And he's stingy between the pipes. In 2,146 minutes played, Argue has an impressive 2.74 GAA and .921 save percentage.
Congrats to Jayson Argue! MVP and Top Goaltender.
Runners-up for the Goaltender of Year Award were Adam Harris of Selkirk Steelers and Matt Krahn, OCN Blizzard.
