Two wins over OCN and four straight overall have the Portage Terriers moving up the standings. The Terriers continue a tough stretch this week as they play four of their next five away from home. Portage hit this week’s CJHL Top 20 as an Honourable Mention.

A mixed start to the new year for the Virden Oil Capitals with wins over Winkler and Steinbach, but an 8-2 loss to Winnipeg all last week.

The Selkirk Steelers are a part of a three way tie for fourth in the MJHL Standings. They’ve won two straight coming into action this week which sees them on a three game home stand.

Winkler’s weekend road swing saw them snag a win and suffer a loss in two contests while they finished the week with two losses in three outings. The Flyers are home for four of their next six.
