|Neepawa Natives Perrier resigns|
November 3, 2011
Effective immediately, the Neepawa Natives Board of Directors have accepted the letter of resignation from Head Coach and General Manager Bryant Perrier as delivered on October 30, 2011.
The Board wants to emphasize their gratitude to Mr. Perrier for reporting a September hazing incident to us immediately and the forthcoming manner in which he handled the situation in the days following. Doing the right thing is not always easy and we commend Mr. Perrier for taking the appropriate and difficult actions that he did during the league’s investigation.
As we move forward, we must thank Bryant Perrier for his exceptional service to our club. Bryant shared our long term goals for the team. He brought a level of professionalism to the position of Coach and General Manager. Wins and losses are easily measured but motivating young people to achieve a higher level in life is not. We feel that during his tenure with the Neepawa Natives, Bryant had a winning record in this regard. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
A search for a new Coach and General Manager has commenced.
