The Winnipeg Blues have acquired the HC playing rights of 19 year old forward Graham McBain from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL for future considerations.

 

The Neepawa Natives have traded the HC playing rights of 20 year old defenseman Michael Butler and future considerations to the Winkler Flyers for the HC playing rights of 20 year old goaltender Corey Koop.

The Neepawa Natives have traded the MJHL list rights of 16 year old forward Quintin Lisoway and future considerations to the Steinbach Pistons for the MJHL list rights of 17 year old forward Matt Gamblin, 17 year old defenseman David Robertson and 16 year old forward Riley Hillis.

Winkler Flyers' Ward Szucki #25 received an Indefinite Suspension pending further review by a panel of Hockey Manitoba Executive members for receiving a Match Penalty for physical harassment of an Official in the game on March 08, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Blues.

As a result of an incident in the game on March 8, 2012 the Manitoba Junior Hockey League has assessed the following sanctions. Dauphin Kings head coach Marlin Murray received two (2) games for receiving a Gross Misconduct penalty in the game on March 8, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Saints.  Murray has also received a ten (10) game suspension for receiving a Match penalty for physical harassment of Officials in the same game versus the Winnipeg Saints. The Dauphin Kings were also fined an undisclosed amount as per League policy.

 

Dauphin Kings’ Calvin Cairns #7 received one (1) game for receiving his 7th accumulated Fighting Major penalty in the same season as per the guidelines of the Junior A Supplement in the game on March 8, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Saints.

 

Dauphin Kings’ Neil Tarnasky #17 received one (1) game for receiving his teams 2nd Goaltender Interference penalty in the same game as per the guidelines of the Junior A Supplement in the game on March 8, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Saints.

Winkler Flyers' Jordan Neduzak #16 received one (1) game for receiving an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty for shooting the puck after the whistle causing an injury (broken jaw) to an opposing player in the game on March 06, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Blues.

OCN Blizzards' Denis Restoule #15 received two (2) games for receiving his Fourth (4th) Checking from Behind penalty in the same season. Infractions issued on September 30, November 20, December 17 and February 22.

 

 
February 17, 2012

Swan Valley Stampeders' Colton Magwood #20 received three (3) games for receiving a Match Penalty in the game on February 15, 2012 versus the Dauphin Kings.

              

Swan Valley Stampeders' Jeff Riddell #25 and Brendan Mitchell #17 each received three (3) games for participating in a Staged Fight in the game on February 15, 2012 versus the Dauphin Kings.

              

Dauphin Kings' Taylor Wells #21 and Neil Tamasky #17 each received three (3) games for participating in a Staged Fight in the game on February 15, 2012 versus the Swan Valley Stampeders.

 

Both teams were fined an undisclosed amount as per League policy.

Waywayseecappo Wolverines' Tyler Posch #16 received one (1) game for receiving the Team’s second Goaltender Interference penalty in the same game in the game on February 14, 2012 versus the Swan Valley Stampeders.

Portage Terriers' Cody Nelson #27 received one (1) game for receiving the Team’s second Goaltender Interference penalty in the same game on February 11, 2012 versus the Winkler Flyers.

 
February 8, 2012

Waywayseecappo Wolverines' Shane Goodrunning #22 and Scott Gallaher #6 each received two (2) games and Barry Butler, Head Coach received one (1) game for participating in a Multiple Fight situation in the game on February 06, 2012 versus the Winkler Flyers as per the Junior A Supplement guidelines.      

           

Winkler Flyers' Tanner Jago #12 and Jory Mullin #9 each received two (2) games and Ken Pearson, Head Coach received one (1) game for participating in a Multiple Fight situation in the game on February 06, 2012 versus the Waywayseecappo Wolverines as per the Junior A Supplement guidelines.

 

Both teams were fined an undisclosed amount as per the Junior A Supplement guidelines.

 

Selkirk Steelers' Joel Messner #5 received two (2) games for receiving a Major Penalty for a Blow to the Head in the game on February 07, 2012 versus the Winnipeg Blues as per the Junior A Supplement guidelines.

 

 
January 27, 2012

Selkirk Steelers' Parker Thomas #90 received two (2) games for a Blow to the Head Dangerous Hit resulting in an injury to an opposing player in the game on January 22, 2012 versus the Winkler Flyers.
