Congratulations to last year’s 20 year old defenseman Shane Harrington. Shane has committed to Currie College for the 2012-2013 season. The Curry Colonels is a NCAA Division III team that plays in the Eastern College Athletic Conference - Northeast. The Currie Colonels had a very successful year going 14-11-2 in the regular season before losing in the ECAC –Northeast Championship Final. The Colonels have had success in recent times, winning two of the last three NCAA Division III ECAC – Northeast titles.
As last year’s Neepawa Natives Assistant Captain, Shane scored seven goals and 12 assists in 57 games and led the Natives’ defense in points, powerplay goals, and penalty minutes. The Westminster, Massachusetts native played an important role with our club last season and we would like to wish Shane future success with the Colonels.

Last year’s Captain, Dylan Dock, has committed to Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Saint Mary’s is located in Winona, Minnesota where their hockey club, the Saint Mary’s Cardinals, play in the NCAA Division III Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Dylan, who hails from River Falls, Wisconsin is sure to add some offense to the Cardinals next season.
