For the second time this season, Steinbach Pistons’ captain Braden Purtill has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week award.

Purtill, 20, registered four points (2-2) in two games last week for the Pistons who sit first in the league standings with a 30-7-1 record. Meanwhile, the 6-foot, 190-pound Winnipegger currently sits second in the MJHL scoring race with 24 goals and 54 points in 37 games.

The runners up are 19 year old forward Nathan Halvorsen of the Selkirk Steelers and 18 year old goaltender Matthew Radomsky of the Steinbach Pistons.
