Steinbach Pistons’ Worrad named Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

Steinbach Pistons are riding a five-game winning streak, due in large part to the outstanding play of Drew Worrad, who has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Worrad, 20, exploded for seven points (4-3) in three wins last week for the Pistons, who are ranked No. 10 in the country by the CJHL.

Worrad, who hails from Birr, Ont., is now on a two-point per game pace with 15 points (8-7) in seven games for the Pistons, who have a season record of 13-3.

The runners up are 20 year old goaltender Emilien Boily of the OCN Blizzard and 19 year old forward Dexter Kuczek of the Winnipeg Blues.
