Virden Oil Capitals’ Zimmer named Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

Virden Oil Capitals’ Rylee Zimmer has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

The 20-year-old forward recorded four points (1-3) in two games last week for the Oil Capitals who are playing the Steinbach Pistons for the Turnbull Cup. (Full schedule of the best-of-seven series)

Zimmer, who hails from Russell, currently sits third overall in the MJHL playoff scoring race with 14 points (7-7).

The runners up are 18 year old forward Riese Gaber of the Steinbach Pistons and 20 year old forward Drew Worrad of the Steinbach Pistons.
