Former Winnipeg Saint Johnny Lazo is one of 11 CJHL alumni who will play in the ECHL Kelly Cup finals. Lazo, who hails from Winnipeg, plays for the Colorado Eagles who face South Carolina Stingrays.
After finishing his Junior A career, Lazo went on to have a successful CIS career with University of Alberta Golden Bears where he won a national championship.
The Kelly Cup begins Friday (May 26).
