Winkler Flyers forward, Brody Beauchemin, has committed to play USPORTS men’s hockey at Lakehead University.
The four-year veteran spent 200 regular season games in a Flyers uniform where he amassed 62 goals and 136 assists to sit just shy of a one point-per-game average in his career.
During the 2023-24, Beauchemin played a key role in helping the Flyers capture their first Turnbull Cup Championship since 1998. As a 20-year-old, Beauchemin was named the recipient of the Frank McKinnon Memorial, displaying outstanding hockey ability and sportsmanship.
The Lakehead University Thunderwolves play USPORTS men’s hockey in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference.
