Flyers alum Max Lavoie commits to Princeton University

Former Winkler Flyers defenceman, Max Lavoie, has committed to play NCAA Division 1 men’s hockey at Princeton University.

Lavoie, who is currently midway through his first season in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Brandon Wheat Kings, announced his commitment over the weekend.

Last season with the Flyers, Lavoie suited up in all 58 regular season games, adding 7 goals and 25 assists. In 10 postseason games, the 2006-born defender posted 1 goal.

The Princeton University Tigers men’s hockey team plays NCAA Division 1 in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
