Flyers 3 Nighthawks 2 | Flyers win best-of-seven series 4-2
Andrew Morton scored the game winner early in the third period while Leif Ekblad made 20 of 22 saves to secure the 3-2 win in game six and send the Flyers into the second round.
Early goals in the first and second period from Dawson Zeller and Evan Panzer would give Niverville a 2-0 lead heading into the back half of the second period. Just less than five minutes apart, Brody Beauchemin and Liam Carlone would beat Austin Dubinsky to tie the game at 2-2 heading into the third.
Just under six minutes into the period, Andrew Morton’s 3rd of the playoffs would give Winkler a 3-2 lead on the powerplay marker. Niverville would pull Dubinsky for the extra attacker but just couldn’t find the equalizer as the Flyers would hang on to win game six 3-2, and take a 4-2 series win.

Terriers 3 Pistons 2 | Terriers win best-of-seven series 4-2
Decker Mujcin’s shorthanded marker in the second period stood as the game winner while Mitchell Kathler was outstanding in the Terriers crease, stopping 38 of 40 shots to help Portage secure a big win on home in front of 1200+ at Stride Place.
After Dawson Madden opened the scoring for the Terriers, Brayden Barnett tied the game just over a minute later. With one second left on the clock, Sam Noad gave the Pistons a lead heading into the second period when he found the back of the net.
In the second period, Madden would score his second of the night to tie the game at 2-2 near the midway point of the period. On a Pistons powerplay, Decker Mujcin would take a feed from Scott Cousins and fire it past Christian Green to give the Terriers a 3-2 lead on his shorthanded tally.

The Pistons would press and pull Christian Green for the extra attacker, but that would be all as the Terriers would hang on to the 3-2 win and take the series, 4-2. The Terriers will now square off with the Dauphin Kings in the second round with a trip to the Turnbull Cup Final on the line.
