Winkler Flyers forward, Niklas Gudmundson, has committed to play NCAA Division 1 men’s hockey at Northern Michigan University.
Gudmundson joined the Flyers last season where he posted 19 goals and 26 assists in 36 games, immediately making an impact for the orange and black. This season, the 20-year-old veteran sits second in the MJHL in points (68), goals (28), and assists (40).
The Northern Michigan University Wildcats play NCAA Division 1 hockey in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
