Harkness & Roussel commit to NCAA Div. III

Simon Harkness of the Steinbach Pistons and Nicolas Roussel of the Swan Valley Stampeders have each committed to further their hockey careers while becoming student athletes.

Pistons 20-year-old netminder, Simon Harkness announced his commitment to play NCAA Div. III for the Alvernia University Golden Wolves in Reading, Pennsylvania next season. The native of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, is in his second season with the Pistons where he sports a 2.76GAA and .901SV% with a 11-7-1-0 record.

In early February, Roussel made his commitment to play NCAA Div. III at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. In 8 games for the Stampeders this season, the 20-year-old from Maple Ridge, BC, has notched 1 goal and 2 assists.
