Selkirk Steelers forward, Jordan Hughesman has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward from Winnipeg, MB leads all MJHL rookies in scoring with 12 goals and 25 assists through 37 games. Hughesman is currently in the midst of an MJHL best, 18-game point streak since December 4th, where he has notched 7 goals and 17 assists.
Hughesman played 7 games as a 17-year-old, notching 1 assist during the canceled 2020-21 season in Selkirk. Prior to joining the Steelers, Hughesman suited up for the WInnipeg Sharks and Thrashers respectively.
The Merrimack College Warriors compete in Hockey East, one of the strongest conferences in college hockey.
