Neepawa Titans forward, Josh Romanyk was named one of thirteen, MJHL – RBC Community Ambassadors earlier this season.

Each ambassador has displayed outstanding citizenship and sportsmanship both on and off the ice and a commitment to volunteerism. RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to their communities where they play.

“Building a connection with the community helps us as players by knowing we have hopefully made a positive impact in some small or big way,” shared Romanyk. “By helping and getting involved, the community gets to know who we are and looks to us as good citizens, which is a good feeling.”

A donation was made by RBC on Josh’s behalf that will go toward Hazel M Kellington School in Neepawa.

“It means a lot to be chosen as a RBC Community Ambassador. There are a lot of great guys who are just as deserving and could have been chosen for this achievement. To be the one that was chosen is a real honour,” he concluded.

During the MJHL Turnbull Cup Finals, one RBC – MJHL Community Ambassador will be named as the recipient of the RBC Community Award, which comes with a further donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.
