Kings’ Leininger Commits To SUNY Plattsburgh

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings and now former forward Keaton Leininger are pleased to announce that the Bismarck, ND product has committed to the SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinals (NCAA DIV III) for the upcoming hockey season.

Leininger spent just under two seasons with the Dauphin Kings and led the team in scoring in 2016-17 with 24 goals and 23 assists for 47 points in 59 games. In his time with the Kings the 20 year old racked up 58 points (33G, 25A) in 98 regular season games.  

“We’re really happy for Keaton, he’s a very driven player that had his sights set on playing college hockey and seeing him achieve that goal is very rewarding for both him and our hockey club” says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry. 

“Keaton was looked up to in the community and was a great ambassador for our team.” added Berry. “The Kings would like the thank Keaton for all his time spent with the club both on and off the ice and wish him great success in his hockey career!”
