Winnipeg Freeze defenseman, Kody Gibbs has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Castleton University.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound defenseman from Winnipeg, Manitoba, spent 46 games in the MJHL with the Freeze where he posted 5 goals and 4 assists on the back end.
Gibbs was also named as the Winnipeg Freeze RBC – MJHL Community Ambassador award recipient this season.
Located in Castleton, Vermont, the Castleton University Spartans play out of the New England Hockey Conference.
