Portage Terriers forward, Koy Funk, made his season debut in the Western Hockey League (WHL) on Monday night with the Calgary Hitmen.
After an injury forced the young forward to miss the opening of the season, Funk went 4 of 5 on the faceoff dot on Monday night in a 3-2 loss to the Portland Winterhawks.
Funk spent the 2024-25 season with the Terriers where he scored 14 goals and 20 assists in 37 games as a 16-year-old.
