WINNIPEG, MB – Opening night of the McMunn & Yates Turnbull Cup Playoffs has arrived.
Three games kick off on the 20th, including a rematch of last years first round series featuring the (2) Steinbach Pistons & (3) Portage Terriers, who are expected to play in front of a near capacity crowd at the Southeast Event Centre in Steinbach.
In the parkland, the (2) Dauphin Kings play host to the visiting (3) Waywayseecappo Wolverines at Credit Union place where these two teams will also meet in the first round for a second straight postseason.
In the 7:30 slot the (1) Virden Oil Capitals host the (4) Neepawa Titans at Tundra Oil & Gas Place in Virden where these two teams will clash in an MGEU West Division battle.
