The Swan Valley Stampeders Jr. A Hockey Club is seeking a full-time Assistant Coach for the 2025–2026 season (August to March).
This position plays a key role in supporting the Head Coach/GM with all aspects of hockey operations, including practice planning, player development, recruitment, game preparation, and video analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, a commitment to player growth, and a solid understanding of Junior A hockey systems and structure. Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain, High Performance 1 and Respect in Sport certifications.
There is also an opportunity for additional compensation for candidates who are willing and able to take on marketing responsibilities. These include leading the team’s marketing and sponsorship programs, maintaining social media and website updates, and engaging with sponsors and the local community.
