The Neepawa Titans are a Junior A hockey club are looking for an Associate Coach with the key responsibility of ensuring player preparedness and developmental growth is being completed to an optimal level.
The Associate Coach will report directly to the Director of Business and Hockey Operations with indirect reporting to the Executive. The Associate Coach will be responsible for the preparation of the team for play including the development of practice plans, review of game footage for league accuracy and player/team coaching opportunities and development of weekly practice plan for submission to arena staff. The Associate Coach will participate in summer and fall camps, facilitate off ice training opportunities, provide input for player recruitment and work with the Director of Business and Hockey Operations to promote the team in the community. The Associate Coach will have many responsibilities and have a great amount of seasonal differentiation.
The successful candidate will display a passion for development of learning, have strong communication and organizational skills and display the desire to create and sustain an atmosphere that promotes success, player development and career progression.
