WINNIPEG, MB – Cole Sheffield (Dauphin Kings) made 43 saves while Cam Bullinger (Portage Terriers) scored twice to help Team MJHL U20 Black to a 5-1 win over Team SJHL U20 Gold on day two of the MJHL-SJHL Showcase in Winnipeg.
For the fourth straight game, Team MJHL scored the opening goal of the game, this time off the stick of Cam Bullinger. After the SJHL tied the game 1-1, Grady Hoffman (Steinbach Pistons) scored the go-ahead goal to give the MJHL a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes.

Matteo Speranza (Niverville Nighthawks) and Nolan Nenow (Portage Terriers) added goals in the second period to extend the MJHL’s lead to 4-1 after 40.

In the third period, Sheffield turned aside 21 shots while Bullinger scored on the empty net to secure the win. Sheffield was named CCM Hockey Star of the Game for Team MJHL following his outstanding performance in the crease.
