WINNIPEG, MB – The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) is pleased to announce it has partnered with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Ride Inside from November 17-25, 2022.
All 13 MJHL organizations will participate in an effort to raise funds and awareness for kids with cancer, including those facing some of the most difficult to treat cancers.
This includes supporting PROFYLE at CancerCare Manitoba. Short for PRecision Oncology For Young peopLE, this initiative gives children, adolescents and young adults who are out of conventional treatment options another chance to beat their cancer.
Teams can gather and ride for five to ten minutes each, or can try something else such as joining a spin class together, or taking bikes out on a trail.
All funds raised in the Ride Inside stay in Manitoba to make a difference for kids with cancer, including those facing some of the most difficult to treat cancers. Eighty percent of kids will be cured. Help move that number up to 100% so no child has to lose their life to cancer.
