RBC PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Cayden Glover (’04) Dauphin Kings

The MJHL’s goal scoring machine continued his torrid pace in the month of January, scoring 10 goals in just 8 games to increase his lead at the top of the MJHL’s goal scoring charts with 33 goals in 38 games. Glover paced all players in the month with nearly a two point-per-game pace.

SAFE WORK MANITOBA DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH
Matthew Haun (’04) Dauphin Kings

Fresh off of his commitment to play NCAA Division III hockey at the College of St. Scholastica, Matthew Haun earns defender of the month after a strong January playing on the top pairing for the Kings. The hard-hitting defender found his offensive groove, posting a point-per-game average in the month.

ORIGINAL 16 GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Liam Ernst (’05) Winkler Flyers

The MJHL’s leader in all major goaltending categories enjoyed another strong month in the Flyers crease and rattled off 6 wins in 6 starts.  Ernst capped off January with back-to-back shutouts against the Blizzard to give him 8 total on the year.

CHEVROLET ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Tristan Gravenor (’06) Portage Terriers
9GP | 6G | 4A | 10PTS

The rookie forward scored big time goals against big divisional opponents in January to help the Terriers pull within striking distance of 1st place in the MGEU East. Gravenor currently sits 6th in scoring amongst all rookies in the MJHL with 14 goals and 18 assists on the season.

MANITOBA PORK PEAK PERFOMER
Nolan Nenow (’04) Portage Terriers
10GP | 6G | 9A | 15PTS

Another straw that stirs the drink in Portage is none other than Nolan Nenow who earns the monthly recognition. The veteran forward sits tied for 5th in the MJHL point scoring race and 2nd on the Terriers. Nenow’s month also included three straight performances with three points in each of those games.
