    A good start to 2020 for the Winkler Flyers. The team went north and won all three of their contests in Swan River and OCN, beating the Blizzard twice and Stampeders once.

    The Pistons ended 2019 with a 3-0 shut out win over the Winnipeg Blues. They then kicked off 2020 with wins over the Blues and Neepawa Natives.

    Winners of four straight the Virden Oil Capitals started their unofficial second half with a big 5-3 road win over the Portage Terriers.

    Just one game and a loss last week for the Terriers. The Centennial Cup hosts have a busy January with 12 total contests. They’ll play four of their next five on the road.

    The Kings erased a two goal deficit in the second period to grab a big two points against the Wayway Wolverines in a 5-4 OT victory Sunday night. Dauphin plays six of their next nine away from home this month.

    The Stampeders opened the new year with two losses on home ice to Winkler and Neepawa. They’ll close out their current five game home stand on Tuesday. They’re 1-2-1 on the stretch so far.

    Two straight losses for Waywayseecappo after that 5-4 OT loss to Dauphin on Sunday. The Wolverines visit the Stampeders on Tuesday and then kick off a five game home stand this weekend.

    Neepawa grabbed two points in their win over the Swan Valley Stampeders Saturday but fell to Steinbach on home ice Sunday.

    Selkirk did not play last week but will resume their schedule on Tuesday and play three games this week. The Steelers are currently holding down the MJHL’s final playoff spot.

    A loss to end 2019 and loss to start 2020 against the Steinbach Pistons. The Blues are just one point behind Selkirk for the league’s final playoff spot as play continues this week.
