     The Winkler Flyers continue to roll as the month of January hits it’s second to last week of action. Winkler is 7-0-1 this month and have won three straight.

  2. (31-8-4) (Last week: 2)
    Two games last week saw the Pistons collect three of a possible four points, beating Virden 6-2 and falling 3-2 in overtime to Winkler. Steinbach is ranked 13th on this week’s CJHL Top 20.

  3. (27-13-4) (Last week: 4)
    The Stampeders come into the week with wins in their last three. They’ll wrap up a four game road swing Saturday in Dauphin.

    Dauphin has also won three straight coming into the week. The Kings play four of their next five away from Credit Union Place before a home heavy February schedule kicks in.

    A win and a loss for the Terriers last week as they had their schedule adjust with another winter storm passing through. Portage has four of five at home to close out January.

    The Steelers have caught fire since the trade deadline. They’ve won four in a row and are now 10 points clear of the Winnipeg Blues for the MJHL’s final playoff spot.

  7. (23-17-4) (Last week: 3)
    Tough week for the Oil Capitals. After beginning the new year with four wins in a row Virden has lost three of their last four. Their lone win last week came against the Winnipeg Blues.

    Three games and three losses last week for the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, all on home ice. The Wolverines close out their five game home stand Saturday before kicking off a four game road swing.

    TA 5-3 win over Neepawa and a 4-2 loss to Virden has the Winnipeg Blues 10 points out of the MJHL’s final playoff spot coming into action this week.

    Neepawa will try to snap their four game losing skid when they return to action later this week. They’ll visit Virden and host Winnipeg this weekend.
