2019-20 Week 4 | October 7-13


  1. (8-1-0) (Last week: 1)
    The Portage Terriers suffered their first loss of the season early in the week, but remain atop the standings coming into this week’s action. The Terriers are also back on the CJHL Top 20 this week. They’re 6th.

  2. (7-2-1) (Last week: 4)
    The Wolverines come into the week with two straight wins and are alone in 2nd place. They’ll play a game at home early this week before heading out on a four game road swing.

  3. (7-2-1) (Last week: 2)
    Swan Valley was one of the many teams in the MJHL that were effected by the blast of winter weather and did not take part in any games this past week. The Stampeders remain on the CJHL Top 20, this week they’re 11th.

  4. (6-2-1) (Last week: 5)
    The Pistons had just one game last week with the snow storm, beating Portage 5-1. They’ll play two of their next three on home ice.

  5. (6-5-2) (Last week: 3)
    The Virden Oil Capitals were one team that didn’t get effected by the snow storm, playing all four of their scheduled games. Unfortunately they dropped three of them.

  6. (4-4-0) (Last week: 7)
    Selkirk’s lone game of the week saw the group pick up two points in a 5-2 win over Virden. The Steelers saw two weekend games postponed and will play two of three at home this week.

  7. (4-5-0) (Last week: 8)
    OCN kicked off their five game home stand with a 6-3 loss and a 4-2 win against the Virden Oil Capitals. They’ll look to build off of Monday’s win on Friday when the top ranked Terriers come to town.

  8. (2-5-1) (Last week: 9)
    Three of a possible four points last week for the Dauphin Kings who are on the road for one game this week and then kick off a three game home stand on Saturday.

  9. (4-4-0) (Last week: 6)
    The Flyers saw two of their games postponed over the weekend but they did play earlier in the week, falling 4-2 to the Winnipeg Blues at home. Winkler hits the road for three straight this weekend.

  10. (3-8-1) (Last week: 10)
    A mixed bag for the Winnipeg Blues last week with a win over Winkler and a loss to Dauphin. It’ll be a quiet next two weeks for the Blues. They have just three games for the rest of October.

  11. (1-9-0) (Last week: 11)
    A win and a loss last week for the Natives but Neepawa still sits at the bottom of the MJHL standings with a lot of work on the horizon including four of their next five on the road.
