  1. (9-2-2) (Last week: 1)
    Three of a possible four points last week have the Steinbach Pistons in good shape with at least two games in hand on both the teams in front of them. The Pistons have the league’s best winning percentage (.769) and are 18th on this week’s CJHL Top 20.

  2. (9-4-3) (Last week: 6)
    Wayway picked up five of a possible six points last week with two one goal wins over Portage and Swan Valley. The Wolverines continue a three game home stand this week.

    Player to watch: (F) Rayman Bassi – 3A in 3GP last week. 
  3. (9-5-1) (Last week: 4)
    The Flyers also grabbed five of a possible six points last week with one goal wins against Wayway and Neepawa. Now Winkler gets set for their next six games on the road.

  4. (6-6-1) (Last week: 8)
    The Dauphin Kings appear to have caught fire. They won all their games last week, outscoring their opponents 20-6 in the process. It’s a busy week for the Kings with four games on the menu.

  5. (10-4-1) (Last week: 2)
    The Portage Terriers have hit some turbulence in their season with four straight losses. They’ll look to get back on track with three games this week. Portage remains on the CJHL Top 20 this week, they moved to 17th.

  6. (9-5-0) (Last week: 3)
    Selkirk’s week started out rough with an 11-2 loss in Dauphin but the Steelers were able to rebound with two wins over OCN on home ice.

  7. (6-7-1) (Last week: 7)
    OCN won their second in a row early in the week then fell twice in Selkirk over the weekend. The Blizzard were able to squeeze a point out of Selkirk in an OT loss on Saturday.

  8. (8-4-1) (Last week: 5)
    After three straight losses the Stampeders snapped their losing skid with a shootout win in Virden. Swan Valley has lost four of their last five coming into action this week.

  9. (3-12-0) (Last week: 11)
    The Neepawa Natives have grabbed four points in their last three games as they look to bump themselves up the standings. They’ll close out October on home ice on Wednesday.

  10. (4-10-1) (Last week: 9)
    One game and one loss for the youthful Winnipeg Blues. They wrapped up October with a 3-5-1 record. Winnipeg has a very busy November with 13 games on their schedule.

  11. (7-7-3) (Last week: 10)
    The month has not been kind to the Oil Capitals. With one game left in October their record sits at 3-7-1 with losses in four of their last five. The good news is Virden was able to pick up two points with a shootout win over Winkler on the weekend, despite blowing a 4-0 and 7-4 lead in that contest.
