Two games and two extra time wins for the Steinbach Pistons over the weekend. Steinbach edged Dauphin 3-2 in a shootout on Friday and then got by Selkirk 3-2 in overtime the next night. This week the Pistons are ranked 16th on the CJHL Top 20.

The Winkler Flyers have points in seven straight and have won six of those seven contests. In just one game last week the Flyers slipped past the Neepawa Natives 6-5 in a shootout.

Three straight wins have the Portage Terriers back on track after a bit of a rough patch in October. This week Portage is 19th on the CJHL’s Top 20.

The Dauphin Kings continue to collect points. Like Winkler, Dauphin has points in seven straight contests and will play three games on home ice this week.

The Stampeders won three of four outings last week and collected seven of a possible eight points. After time on the road last weekend Swan Valley returns home for a three game home stand this week.

Two games last week were opposites for the Wolverines. They won their first 5-2 at home over Selkirk but then lost 8-2 to the visiting OCN Blizzard two nights later.

OCN started their week out strong with wins over Wayway (8-2) and Virden (3-2) but stumbled at the end with a loss to Dauphin (8-3) on home ice.

A tough week for the Steelers with losses in three out of four games. After an early home game this week Selkirk is on the road for three straight.

Three games and three losses for Neepawa. The Natives were able to grab a point in a 6-5 shootout loss to Winkler on Sunday. After a game in Steinbach early this week Neepawa will play eight of the next nine on home ice.

The struggles continue for the Virden Oil Capitals as they dropped three in a row last week. Coming into this week Virden has lost seven of their last eight games.
