  1. (2-0-0-0) 
    Two games and two wins last week for the Steinbach Pistons. They didn’t allow a goal and outscored their opponent 10-0 in the process.

  2. (2-0-0-0) 
    The Winnipeg Blues got off to a strong start this season. They beat the Selkirk Steelers twice over the weekend. First by a score of 5-3 then 6-1.

  3. (2-0-0-0) 
    The Swan Valley Stampeders are the third of four teams that remain perfect after two contests. The Stamps beat OCN twice over the weekend and will try and keep rolling when they battle the Blizzard again this week.

    The Flyers also had a good weekend. They got two victories over the Neepawa Natives, beating them 3-2 in OT on opening night then 4-1 on home ice Saturday.

  5. (1-0-1-0) 
    Three of a possible four points for the Virden Oil Capitals over the weekend. The Oil Caps suffered an overtime loss to the Terriers on Sunday. They’ll be in Portage for both games this weekend.

    The Kings started off with a rough 7-3 loss in their home opener but bounced back very strong with a 7-0 decision on the road on the Wayway.

    The Terriers snagged an overtime win in Virden over the weekend, picking up two of a possible four points on the road. They’ll return to Stride Place for two tilts this weekend.

    Waywayseecappo started their year with an impressive 7-3 win in Dauphin but unfortunately followed that up with a flat 7-0 loss in their home opener to the Kings the next night.

  9. (0-1-1-0) 
    Neepawa had an exciting start to their season on home ice, but couldn’t get the extra point in a 3-2 OT loss to the visiting Flyers. The Natives then dropped a 4-1 decision on the road the next night in Winkler.

    The Steelers were outscored 11-4 in their two opening weekend losses to the Winnipeg Blues. Selkirk will get another shot at the Blues this weekend.
