    The Winnipeg Blues have now won three in a row. They took out their city rivals, the Winnipeg Freeze, 10-1 and 5-1 and remain without a regulation loss on the season.

    The Swan Valley Stampeders suffered their first loss of the season on Friday but bounced back with another home ice win Saturday.

    Two losses in a row over the weekend saw the Pistons slip a little down the standings. Steinbach was able to gain a point in Friday’s 3-2 shootout loss to Selkirk.

    The Dauphin Kings got just one of their two games in over the weekend, but they got the job done winning their second straight to get above .500 for the first time this season.

    Another split weekend for the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, this time they won at home and lost on the road to the Swan Valley Stampeders.

    Two big wins over Steinbach bumped the Selkirk Steelers up to .500 after the third week of action. They’ll try for four more points against the Pistons this weekend.
