1 – Steinbach Pistons (-)
This week: 3-0
Overall: 46-8-2
A great combination of continuing to roll along while also finding ways to improve their game. All-around depth has shown throughout the season, and players have used the opportunities given to either gain confidence or show they can be a part of the playoff roster.
Player Spotlight: William Picklyk – 2 goals, 1 assist in 3 games

2 – Niverville Nighthawks (-)
This week: 3-0
Overall: 50-6-1
No panic, no worry. They believe their time is now. As they’ve marched throughout the year, the way they’ve played hasn’t changed, nor has it had to, and those details they’ve locked in will serve them well in what will be a must-watch series to start their playoff journey.
Player Spotlight: Adam Vigfusson – 2 goals in 2 games
Up Next: Mar. 13th @ Portage
3 – Portage Terriers (-)
This week: 3-0
Overall: 37-17-1
Getting more confident and having a deeper lineup is a great combo as they go into the playoffs. Never to be underestimated, a dynamic group and a coaching staff that always seem to rise to the occasion, will make them a dangerous threat.
Player Spotlight: Rhett Platt – 1 goal, 3 assists in 3 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th @ WPG Monarchs, Mar. 13th vs Niverville, Mar. 15th vs WPG Monarchs
4- Virden Oil Capitals (+2)
This week: 3-1
Overall: 36-14-3-2
Banking a couple of much-needed, get key guys feeling good kind of wins is just what they needed. Having everything locked in, they can choose to rest some bumps and bruises, while also giving some guys a chance to show they can be counted on when the real fun starts.
Player Spotlight: London Hoilett – 3 goals, 4 assists in 4 games
Up Next: Mar. 12th vs Steinbach, Mar. 14th @ Waywayseecappo, Mar. 15th @ WPB Blues
5- Dauphin Kings (+2)
This week: 3-0
Overall: 32-23-2
Another stretch where it looks like the details they’ll need to win playoff games are falling into place. Whether it’s defending a lead or clawing back, the group has shown they have what it takes to really dig in deep and do what it takes to win close games.
Player Spotlight: Ty Pratte – 1 goal, 2 assists in 3 games
Up Next: Mar. 14th vs WPG Blues
6 – Winkler Flyers (-2)
This week: 0-1-1
Overall: 33-13-3-2
The results were not what they hoped, but they opened their renovated area to much fanfare, and that new building energy should keep rolling right into a postseason where, on paper, they will be underdogs, but no one in the room or the community believes they will be outmatched.
Player Spotlight: Tanner George – 2 goals, 1 assist in 2 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th @ WPG Blues, Mar. 13th @ Selkirk
7 – Waywayseecappo Wolverines (-2)
This week: 0-0-1
Overall: 27-23-3-2
A nice break after some gruelling weeks really took its toll. For a group that has battled serious injuries that have taken players out for long stretches, having a bit of time to rest up is not a bad thing at all. Needing just one point to lock into third place, the group will look to use these last few games to ramp up.
Player Spotlight: Blake Farthing – 2 assists in 1 game
Up Next: Mar. 13th @ Neepawa, Mar. 14th vs Virden, Mar. 15th vs Northern Manitoba
8 – Winnipeg Blues (+1)
This week: 2-2-1
Overall: 16-34-4
Playing for pride, the Blues have gone about their late-season business with mixed results. When they’ve played good, it’s been good. When they’ve let things slip, it’s been bad. Hard to find a lot of motivation to play out the stretch and such a compact schedule, but the young players have.
Player Spotlight: Carson White – 3 goals, 2 assists in 5 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th vs Winkler, Mar. 13th @ Swan Valley, Mar. 14th @ Dauphin, Mar. 15th vs Virden
9- Neepawa Titans (+2)
This week: 2-2
Overall: 27-27-1-1
Two wins to kind of right the ship, the Titans can feel a bit better going into the final stretch, where they will look to catch some of that magic they had earlier in the season. Being underdogs is nothing new for the team, and they will gladly be underestimated, as that’s when they shine.
Player Spotlight: Kyle Weisgarber – 2 goals, 4 assists in 4 games
Up Next: Mar. 13th vs Waywayseecappo, Mar. 14th vs Swan Valley
10- Swan Valley Stampeders (+3)
This week: 1-1
Overall: 19-32-3-1
While this year didn’t go their way, the Stamps are already being viewed as a team on the rise, and could easily be in playoff contention next year. The pieces are there. The young players gained valuable experience, and the lessons learned this year will be a big factor.
Player Spotlight: Trace Langan – 1 goal, 3 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th vs Northern Manitoba, Mar. 13th vs WPG Blues, Mar. 14th @ Neepawa
11 – Winnipeg Monarchs (-3)
This week: 1-3
Overall: 11-43-2
It doesn’t matter the game, doesn’t matter the opponent, doesn’t matter their record, but the Monarchs still skate hard, work hard, and their goaltenders get better with more work. Still a lot of work to do going into the future, and the hope is they can build on this year instead of starting over again.
Player Spotlight: Neely Evans – 1 goal in 3 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th vs Portage, Mar. 15th @ Portage
12 – Northern Manitoba Blizzard (-2)
This week: 0-3-1
Overall: 8-41-4-3
A long, tough season is slowly coming to an end. Hard pressed to find many positives. There are younger players that will make an impact down the road. The community continued to support, and given the state of hockey at this level, there is always a chance for a quick turnaround.
Player Spotlight: Jett Fogle – 2 assists in 4 games
Up Next: Mar. 11th @ Swan Valley, Mar. 15th @ Waywayseecappo
13 – Selkirk Steelers (-1)
This week: 0-4
Overall: 20-33-2-1
The group keeps battling, keeps trying, but some nights it’s hard to find that mojo or the jam. There will be some questions going forward, but like any team looking for positives, next year is a new year, and it’s an opportunity to learn, improve and grow.
Player Spotlight: Carter Zalischuk – 3 assists in 4 games
Up next: Mar. 13th vs Winkler, Mar. 14th @ Steinbach
