1 – Niverville Nighthawks (-)
This week: 1-0
Overall: 18-1
Haven’t lost a game in a long time, and could make the argument they haven’t lost even a period in that stretch. Up to second in the CJHL Rankings. Have had a lot of success at home, and will look to bring that on the road as they’ll spend a fair amount of time away from the CRRC the rest of the calendar year.

2 – Virden Oil Capitals (+3)
This week: 1-0
Overall: 12-6
An impressive showing on the road was matched by an equally impressive showing at home. Scoring 17 goals over two games continues a month where they have found the back of the net almost at will. Special teams, a focus through much of the year, have also been given a shot in the arm.
Player Spotlight: Cohen Lewko – 4 goals, 2 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 22nd @ Winkler
3 – Steinbach Pistons (+1)
This week: 2-0
Overall: 15-4-1
Good teams win the games they are supposed to win and respond when tested. Coming off a humbling loss, the group stepped up and got the job done. Regardless of the final score, they’ll take the result and the way they achieved it. A good stretch of games is coming up, and they’ll look to keep them in rhythm.

4 – Portage Terriers (-2)
This week: 0-1
Overall: 13-6-1
Not the way to start a home stand. Everything seemed to go against them, but they could argue they made life more difficult on themselves than they needed to. Coming off a tidy win streak, one loss won’t hurt much. Lots of opportunities coming up to get back on track.

5 – Neepawa Titans (-2)
This week: 0-1
Overall: 8-9-0-1
It’s been an even stretch of late, never letting losses pile up, but also not being able to string wins together for a lengthy period. The team will feel closer to the top of the MGEU West than the middle, and they have some games in hand on the teams behind them, giving them a chance to earn some breathing room.
Player Spotlight: Jack Clark – 1 goal in 1 game.

6 – Winkler Flyers (+3)
This week: 3-0
Overall: 9-9-1-1
Finally getting rewarded for their efforts and picking up some wins. After feeling like they’ve been close for a while, the Flyers will be happy to get some points in the bank, but know they have more work to do if they want to climb the MGEU East standings. First team to 600 penalty minutes.
Player Spotlight: Tanner George – 1 goal, 6 assists in 3 games.

7 – Dauphin Kings (+1)
This week: 2-0
Overall: 12-6-1
Stopped a losing streak and still remain atop the MGEU West, believing that their best hockey is still ahead of them. Scoring has not come as easily of late, but the group has dug in and found a way to get the job done. Encouraging going forward that they can adapt to whatever a particular game demands.
Player Spotlight: Daniel Helary – 2 goals in 2 games

8 – Winnipeg Blues (-2)
This week: 1-1
Overall: 7-8-2
Not time to circle a divisional loss and dwell on it, but the group knows they’ll need to respond when they meet the team they are chasing again. Continuing to trend in the right direction and having the added benefit of having played the least amount of games so far in the MGEU East.
Player Spotlight: Dane MacInnis – 1 goal, 1 assist in 1 game
Up Next: Nov. 22nd vs Selkirk, Nov. 23rd vs Dauphin, Nov. 26th @ Portage
9- Selkirk Steelers (+2)
This week: 2-1
Overall: 14-8-1
Stopped a slide by getting back to what made them successful earlier in the year. A bonus was beating a team trying to chase them down in the MGEU East. Still have a grip on their own fate, but in a tight division, every point has become crucial, even before the halfway mark of the year.
Player Spotlight: Dawson Madden – 4 goals, 2 assists in 3 games
Up Next: Nov. 22nd @ WPG Blues, Nov. 25th @ Waywayseecappo
10- Winnipeg Monarchs
This week: 0-1
Overall: 4-18
Never get cheated for effort. Young, hungry, and improving. Solid goaltending is a standout in most games. They have the pieces to be dangerous, but are still searching for that consistent goal-scoring threat that will keep other teams honest. Regardless of results, the team is trending better than in years past.
Player Spotlight: Deegan Wapass – 1 goal in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 21st @ Neepawa, Nov. 26th @ Steinbach
11 – Swan Valley Stampeders (-1)
This week: 0-2-1
Overall: 6-14-1
Hanging around in the fight both nightly and in the MGEU West standings. Goaltending is the story most nights. Scoring can be hit or miss. They have the weapons up front, but they’ll need more out of the depth if they want to take a noticeable step forward.
Player Spotlight: Jake Giacobbo – 3 assists in 3 games
Up Next: Nov. 19th vs Dauphin, Nov. 22nd vs Niverville, Nov. 26th @ Neepawa
12 – Waywayseecappo Wolverines (-)
This week: 1-3
Overall: 8-13-1
Picked up a nice win, but followed that up with three consecutive losses. Not only did the results not finish the way they would have hoped, but what might be most frustrating is that they had chances to win all those games. Still in a good spot standings-wise, but will start to feel the pressure to keep up.
Player Spotlight: Blake Farthing – 2 goals, 3 assists in 4 games

13 – Northern Manitoba Blizzard (-)
This week: 0-3
Overall: 3-14-1-1
Growing pains continue for a group still working its way through things. Starting to slip back in the MGEU West standings, but they’ve shown before that when they are counted out, they can put together a stretch and get right back into the mix. They’ll need to pull off one of those stretches soon.
Player Spotlight: Wyatt Yakimchuk – 1 goal, 1 assist in 3 games
