The Steinbach Pistons had just one game last week but they got the job done in a 7-1 decision over Neepawa. Coming into this week the Pistons have won three straight. Steinbach also sits 11th on the CJHL Top 20 this week.

2nd
Two wins in three outings for the Portage Terriers has them three points up on Virden for 2nd place. They’ll play just one game this week, but it’s a big one as they face the Flyers on home ice. The Terriers are once again an Honourable Mention on the CJHL Top 20.

Winkler got a big win over Portage on Sunday night but fell short to Virden earlier in the weekend to come out of the week with a win and a loss.

3rd
Virden also snagged a win and a loss last week. Edging Winkler 3-2 and falling 4-1 to Portage. It’s a very busy week coming up for the Oil Capitals.

Selkirk was another team to pick up a win and a loss last week, beating Wayway 5-2 and dropping a 4-1 decision to Portage.

Only one game last week for the Blizzard but they were able to grab a big two points over the Winnipeg Blues. OCN has one game on home ice this week before heading out on a four game road swing to end the month.

Neepawa was able to end their two game slide with a 6-3 win over Dauphin on Friday but couldn’t keep the ball rolling with a 7-1 home loss to Steinbach on Saturday.

Swan Valley split their two home games with the Winnipeg Blues over the weekend, losing the first contest 2-1 but bouncing back with a 6-2 victory on Sunday.

Only one game for Dauphin last week and it ended it a 6-3 loss at home to the Neepawa Natives. The schedule is a bit busier this week for the Kings.
