The Stampeders have won five straight with their latest victory coming over Portage on home ice. The win pulled them within six points of top spot in the league. Swan Valley is also rated 11th on the CJHL Top 20 this week.

A loss to start a weekend road swing but two straight wins to end it for the Virden Oil Capitals last week, including a 10-3 win over OCN to close out the weekend.
