Marlen Edwards (FWD/’06) – Niverville Nighthawks – 3GP | 6G | 1A | 7PTS

The heater just doesn’t stop for Marlen Edwards who scored in three consecutive games last week for the Nighthawks, which included his most impressive performance on Sunday night against Dauphin where he notched a hat-trick and added a slick a assist.

Ben Chornomydz (G/’07) – Niverville Nighthawks – 2GP | 2W | 0.50GAA | 0.977SV% | 1SO

Chornomydz kicked off the week with a perfect 24-save shutout over an MGEU East Division rival in the Terriers, before turning aside 19 of 20 shots in a follow up win against the Blues. Chornomydz has yet to lose this season, keeping a tidy 13-0 record thus far.

Colten Worthington (FWD/’07) – Virden Oil Capitals – 3GP | 2G | 5A | 7PTS

The 18-year-old continued to be a driving force for the surging Oil Capitals last week with a pair of multi-point performances. In a comeback victory against Steinbach, Worthington scored the game tying goal and had the primary assist on the OT winner to along with two more helpers.
