Week 25, March 9 – 15, 2026  |  The Manitoba Junior Hockey League Stars of the Week are proudly presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.

Lucas Lagoutte (FWD/’07) – Winnipeg Blues – 5GP | 5G | 4A | 9PTS

The 18-year-old popped off in the final week of the regular season which included his most impressive performance against the Kings where he scored a hat-trick. Lagoutte has put together 14 points over his last 10 games, including wins in 5 of those contests to cap off a tough year for the Blues.

Braxton Burdeny (G/’05) – Virden Oil Capitals – 3GP | 3W | 1.67GAA | 0.948SV% | 1SO

The veteran puck-stopper capped off the final week of the regular season with a trio of wins, turning aside 92 of 97 shots. Burdeny pitched a 33-save shutout over the Blues before posting a 40-save win over the Pistons. Burdeny and the Oil Caps now prepare for their first round series against the Titans.

Cohen Lewko (FWD/’09) – Virden Oil Capitals – 5GP | 3G | 5A | 6PTS

The 16-year-old had a pair of big games last week after returning from his call-up to the Saskatoon Blades (WHL). Lewko posted 3 assists in a win over the Blues before scoring three goals and an assist against the Blues in the rematch which included the game winner.
