Pacing the league in points last week, Gudmundson is back in Winkler to stir the offensive drink. Five points in a win over the Monarchs before adding a primary assist and a powerplay marker against the Steelers to close out the week. First on his team in scoring and sixth in the league, Gudmunson looks poised to lead this Flyers team on the scoresheet.

Yaschyshyn stopped 45 of 47 shots in a pair of wins last week which included an impressive 28-save performance in a 5-1 Kings win over the Nighthawks. Sitting atop the MGEU West Division at 6-1, Yaschyshyn and the Kings return to the ice this coming weekend at home to the Monarchs before travelling to Winkler to close out the week.

Bryce Bryant (FWD/’06) – Virden Oil Capitals – 3GP | 4G | 1A | 5PTS
The NCAA D1 Bemidji State University committed forward extended his goal streak to five games last week, helping the Oil Caps pick up a pair of key wins. He scored in both games against Waywayseecappo before adding 2 goals and 1 assist in a win over the Titans. Virden currently sits tied with the Kings with 12 points at the top of the MGEU West Division.
