The Neepawa Natives are proud to announce the commitment of three year veteran Noah Carson to the Wisconsin-Stout University Blue Devils. Carson played 174 games with the organization, compiling 40 points over the three year span. Over that time, Noah set a franchise record for games played by an American born player.
Carson was thrilled with his recent signing. “I would like to thank the Natives organization that has helped me through these past three years to get to this point where I can play college hockey, get a great education, and a future career.” He had further praise for the organization stating, “I have the staff and the Natives to thank for that, along with teaching me how to be a man and help me grow up.”
The Blue Devil hockey program has been in existence at Wisconsin-Stout University since 1968. The team competes in the WIAC division (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) at the Fanetti Community Center (formerly the Dunn County Ice Arena). In its 38th year of existence the program has nearly 450 wins. Last season the Blue Devils had a respectable 13-12-2 record.
The University of Wisconsin–Stout is a public university located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Founded in 1891, UW–enrolls more than 9,600 students. At Wisconsin-Stout Noah will be taking Kinesiology before moving to grad school to take Physical Therapy.
