The Niverville Nighthawks became the first team this season to book their spot in the McMunn & Yates Turnbull Cup Playoffs with a win on Friday night in Winnipeg.
The win on Friday mixed with a Steelers loss officially gave the Nighthawks their spot in the postseason for a fourth consecutive campaign since joining the MJHL in 2022-23.
The 2025-26 Nighthawks have beat their franchise best 35 wins (2024-25) with 18 games remaining on the schedule and sit with a league best 37-2-1 record as of Saturday, January 31.
