Former Virden Oil Capitals defenseman, Justin Lee has been named captain of the Denver University Pioneers ahead of his senior season.
The 2017-18 MJHL Rookie of the Year spent one season in Virden where he earned his NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Denver before moving on to spend one season in the USHL between Lincoln and Fargo (2018-19).
In Lee’s junior season at Denver (2021-22), he helped guide the Pioneers to a National Championship. The native of Waskada, MB is a veteran of 93 NCAA games and enters his final year of college hockey.
