Svenson helped the Winkler Flyers get off to a 2-0 start which included a four-goal effort against the Winnipeg Blues on Saturday night. The Ile des Chenes, MB native enters his 3rd season in the MJHL.

Hamm got off to a near perfect start in helping the OCN Blizzard to a 2-0 record. In 2 wins over Swan Valley, Hamm stopped 63 of 65 shots. The Saskatoon, SK, resident joined OCN in a late offseason trade.
Ty Paisley (FWD/’04) – Steinbach Pistons – 2GP | 1G | 3A | 4PTS
Paisley picked up where he left off at the end of last season, helping lead his hometown Steinbach Pistons to a pair of victories. The St. Thomas University D1 commit had a strong showing in both wins over the Nighthawks.
