Nolan Nenow (FWD/’04) – Portage Terriers – 4GP | 5G | 6A | 11PTS
What a week for Nenow who helped the Terriers go 3-0-0-1 to keep pace with the top dogs in the MGEU East Division. The veteran forward posted three straight, 3-point outings before capping off the week with an assist on the opener and a late game tying goal that would earn the Terriers a valuable point in a shootout loss. Nenow’s monster week has him 4th in league scoring with 46 points in 37 games.

Loic Morin (G/’04) – Virden Oil Capitals – 2GP | 2W | 1.92GAA | 0.925SV%
Morin became an instant boost to a young Oil Caps’ team who continues to hold the final playoff spot in the MGEU West Division. The Quebec born puck stopper turned aside 21 of 23 in a win over the Freeze before stopping 28 of 30 in a big shootout win for his club, where he stopped all 3 Nighthawks shooters. A big game against Selkirk early this week is followed up with a rematch against the Nighthawks on Friday for Morin and the Oil Caps.

Koy Funk (FWD/’08) – Portage Terriers – 4GP | 3G | 3A | 6PTS
The 2008-born forward continues to impress for the Terriers and now has points in six straight after another big week for the dogs. Funk scored a goal and an assist in a key divisional win over Selkirk before assisting the game winner against Dauphin and opening the scoring on the powerplay against Neepawa. The 17-year-old added another powerplay goal for his 13th of the season along with the game tying assist in a shootout loss to the Flyers.
