Travis Hensrud (FWD/’02) – Steinbach Pistons – 3GP | 4G | 2A | 6PTS
Hensrud scored four goals in three games during the week, including two in addition to the shootout winner he had to close out the week with a win over Selkirk. The Pistons sit atop the MJHL standings with a 5-0 record after the first two weeks with Hensrud sitting 2nd in league scoring.
Nolan Chastko (FWD/’05) – Virden Oil Capitals – 2GP | 3G | 2A | 5PTS
Chastko burst on to the scene over the weekend, scoring three times including a highlight reel overtime winner against the Neepawa Titans where he went end-to-end. The 17-year-old from Brandon, MB
Riley Zimmerman (FWD/’02) – OCN Blizzard – 4GP | 5G | 1A | 6PTS
Zimmerman continued his hot start to the season last week including a four-goal game against the Dauphin Kings. The 20-year-old from Winnipeg, MB leads the MJHL in scoring with 6 goal and 4 assists in 6 games.
