Parker Malchuk commits to University of Manitoba

Dauphin Kings captain, Parker Malchuk has committed to play USPORTS hockey at the University of Manitoba this fall.

The 5-foot-10, 172-pound defender from Birtle, MB, enjoyed a career season where he scored 12 goals and 33 assists in 50 regular season games. Malchuk split time between Neepawa, Portage and Dauphin in the MJHL where he played in 106 total career games.

Malchuk was voted the MJHL’s Top Defenseman and runner-up as the MJHL’s Most Valuable Player in 2021-22. He was named a First Team All-Star and was instrumental in the Kings run to the Turnbull Memorial Trophy victory as MJHL Champions.

The University of Manitoba Bisons Men’s hockey team plays USPORTS in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association.
