Portage Terriers’ Brakel Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

Thanks to six points in two games, Portage Terriers’ veteran Chase Brakel has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Brakel, 20, registered four points (two powerplay goals) in the Terriers’ last game (6-5 overtime loss to Swan Valley). The winner of the on-going Turnbull Cup championship series will advance to the ANAVET Cup series against the winner of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Brakel, who hails from Winnipeg, is having an excellent playoff season reflected in five goals and 18 points in 10 games.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Bradly Goethals of the Swan Valley Stampeders and 20 year old forward Ty Barnstable of the Portage Terriers.
