Camp rosters and special guests announced

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced rosters and special guests for the upcoming MJHL Prospects Development Camp held July 25-28, 2019 in Winnipeg at Seven Oaks Sportsplex.

Attending players are organized onto four camp teams, Team Black, Team Grey, Team Red, Team White, with nineteen (19) players per team.  The camp will  see a total of seventy-six (76) prospects born in 2002 and 2003 comprised of eight (8) goaltenders, twenty-four (24) defence, and fourty-four (44) forwards.

The camp will feature a busy weekend for players participating in a loaded schedule of on ice and off ice development activities. This year’s skills sessions will be led by Jean-Pierre Vigier (Defence, Vigier Hockey), Jon Cara (Forwards, TheRINK), and Alfie Michaud (Goalies, Maine Black Bears/NCAA).

Christian Aumell (CJOB Sports Show Host) will MC the hot stove session held on Saturday, July 27.  The special panel guests will include Barrett Leganchuk (Winnipeg Jets, Scouting Coordinator), James Patrick (Winnipeg ICE/WHL, Head Coach), Eddie Olczyk (Bemidji State Beavers/NCAA, Asst. Coach), Jean-Pierre Vigier (MJHL, NHL ALumni), and Zach Whitecloud (MJHL Alumni, Vegas Golden Knights prospect).
