MINOT, ND – The Minot State Hockey team is proud to announce the commitment of forward Riley Vautour from the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

“Riley is a great addition to our lineup. We graduated some scoring up front and this is exactly what Riley brings to the table. He is a player who has an incredible hockey IQ and vision particularly in the offensive zone. He took his play to the next level in the playoffs this past year, meaning the pressure does not get to him. He is a gifted player who is going to complement our deep returning forward group” comments Wade Regier.

The Beaver Hockey program has been in existence at Minot State University since 1995. The team competes independently at the ACHA division 1 level and plays its home games at the MAYSA Arena in Minot, N.D. The Beavers are coached by Wade Regier and assisted by Wyatt Waselenchuk. In its twenty-fourth year of existence, the program has been through five head coaches and has two national titles to its name.
